Just Another Lost Love Song

The fickle fans of foolish fate,
Bring lovers, new, sometimes, late.
Passion flares from a single smile,
Only to miss by a proverbial mile.

Refrain

You've flown in and out of my life,
Like the morning mourning dove.
That's lost it's mates, but still relates,
By routines shared with all that love.

The course of time moves on,
To thoughts of those long gone.
Ones who fired my imagination,
But couldn't change their station.

[Refrain]

I moved on and changed much,
Sometimes thought, lost the touch.
But the cycle turns round again,
And new love sparks begin.

[Refrain]

As I look back from the pinnacle of life,
Memories grow fonder, losing strife.
Of all the loves come and gone,
It's you I remember at the dawn.

[Refrain]

Elderly Man Daydreaming About a Lost Love Ron AI
It's only normal to have many loves in lifetime.
For those that have only one are
very fortunate and rare.
