Flocking

Birds of a feather, flock together,
but should you or I?

When we sign up to join,
or become a member,
do we all see eye to eye?

There is power in numbers,
whatever our druthers,
do we get our share of the pie?

And when the bow breaks,
filled with too many flakes,
is it time to abandon the lie?

Let's all flock together,
and keep an eye on the weather,
for the flock to suddenly fly.

I don't give a flying flock about flocking,
with my strained integrity hocking,
to those birdies, I say, "Bye, bye."
