Holy Cow!

The cows came home,
precisely at six,
And somehow I knew,
I was really in a fix.

I hadnÕt milked a cow,
Since I was a kid,
What I was doing with forty,
Nearly blew my lid.

Got online immediately,
To my acquainted friend,
Milk maid was at my door,
Knew a cowÕs front from end.

Hired her on the spot,
She milked every damn one.
Sold the milk to an organic store,
We were making money hon.

That was many years ago,
And we are still having fun,
Branched out to having children,
And always on the run.

Glad it wasnÕt chickens home to roost!
