Ace in the Hole

Got an ace in the hole,
goin' to make that goal,
no matter when or how.

Some have good luck,
some can make a buck,
but some need a little, now.

For the world ain't fair,
there's cold fear in the air,
lady luck ain't easy to find.

When the cards come around,
and no aces can be found,
a way that will not be kind.

So lay your cards down,
with a smile or a frown,
but don't give your hand away.

For the luck of the draw,
may stick in your craw,
but that ace will win the day.

Life is like a poker game. Regardless
of the circumstances, it certainly is
always good to have a little something
behind like an ace in the hole.
